Checklists

A paper checklist records that someone ticked a box. It doesn’t enforce anything and it doesn’t trigger anything. In conlud, checklists are procedures: they guide the user through the job, require evidence at the right points, and produce a report at the end.

The editor supports conditional logic. Questions appear only when a previous answer calls for them — report a defect and the list asks for a photo at that point. Inputs include choice fields, measured values, free text, info text and file attachments. Different inspection points can be shown depending on the type of equipment or site.

When a threshold is exceeded or a critical finding is recorded, the checklist can create a follow-up task automatically and assign it to a responsible person. The defect doesn’t sit in a report — it continues as a task.

To close, technician and customer sign directly on a tablet or smartphone. The system records the time and the people involved, generates a PDF report, files it, and emails it if required.
